Counting OCD

My morning class starts at 9.30 AM and it takes 15 to 20 minutes for me to go to school. So usually I wake up at 8.00 AM to prepare and do my morning routine.

Now you may think this is weird, but I have an obsession to count and do things 5 times. So everyday when I wake up, I will do everything 5 times wether it's blinking, tapping or any other things.

This part isn't really a bother to me, it feels like a habit. But if you ask why 5 times? Maybe because I feel 5 is a good number. And if I don't do it 5 times, I will feel VERY curious, uncomfortable and the urge  to do it is very strong. The feeling of curiosity will take all my attention from other things to "DO IT 5 TIMES".

It's hard to explain.

WRITE YOUR STORY

I took too much time on cutting the bread! Now I really should rush otherwise I won't make it to school on time.

But this one is another time-consuming routine I always need to go through

every morning.

I will feel something isn't right if I don't try tying it again. I feel something really bad would happen if I don't do it again. I know it doesn't make any sense, I know tying shoes don't have any relation to any bad luck. But still  I want to avoid those things.

I really should invest on slip-on shoes.

WRITE YOUR STORY

It was a messed up morning.

I didn't know I only have bread for breakfast. It's a must for me to cut the edges, but it takes a really long time to cut it using a spoon. And if I don't cut it evenly, my mind will force me to keep doing that again and again until I achieve it.

Trust me, it's not like I want to waste food. It's really painful to see the leftovers. But

I really can't resist the urge.

Oh right, you must be wondering why

am I not using a knife to cut it.

I'll tell you that later.

OCD is like having a bully stuck inside

your head and nobody else can see it

an Itch, the urge you to scratch
